We were very pleased to be selected to receive a fruit snack pack from Betty Crocker and be able to offer one to one of our lucky readers! The Fruit Snack Pack comes with a box of new Create A Bug fruit flavored snacks and a variety pack box (with fruit rollups, fruit gushers and fruit by the foot) and a number of fun toys including a light up yo-yo and pick-up sticks.
Overall, we have found Betty Crocker’s fruit snacks to be very tasty and portable. While these fruit snacks are not quite as nutrious as some of the other all natural, organic gluten free fruit snacks out there, these still had 20% of the daily vitamin C.
We have already found a wide selection of the Betty Crocker fruit snacks labeled “gluten free” (most recently Scooby Doo) at several of our local grocery stores and even Target. We find it wonderful to be able to purchase a big brand name box of gluten free snacks at an affordable price while doing our “regular” shopping. Additionally, for those of us with celiac kids, these individual packs are great for sharing with other children because they are immediately recognized and I haven’t yet met a kid (or adult) not willing to eat these! And there isn’t the usual explanation of these being special gluten free snacks.
If you would like to try these treats and get some fun toys also, please comment below on how these snacks would serve you and your family during the holiday season or into the New Year. We will randomly select one the folks commenting before midnight on December 10, 2009 and notify the winner by email.
