At this point, the only gluten free cooking class we’re aware of in Denver is taking place on 30 March 2011 through The Seasoned Chef. The class will be held by Monica Poole who owns the local store Deby’s Gluten-Free Bakery and Cafe. Check it out in the list of classes and register here:
We learned while at a tasting for The Last Bread Crumb (review to follow in the next few days) this weekend that the Cook Street School of Fine Cooking will be starting a Gluten Free cooking class series. While we can’t yet speak to the value of these classes, we think the opportunity is exciting. The two classes we learned of are:
Gluten Free Kitchen Basics on April 27th from 6 – 9:30 pm
This class will discuss foods that are naturally gluten free and Cooking 101. Included in the class will be a Gluten Free meal served with wine. Cost $79
Gluten Free Basic 1 on May 18th from 6 – 9:30 pm
This class will introduce gluten free grains, grain cookery, flours and blends. Included in the class will be Gluten Free meal served with wine. Cost $79.
We likely will try to attend the May class and will then provide a review. Please check our our calendar for these and other gluten free events — you can even add your own! For more information and reservations call 303-308-9300 or visit www.cookstreet.com
