What I don’t like about this app is that some reviewers poorly rate restaurants for reasons like they didn’t like the meal or menu choices when it is kind of not relevant to the the gluten free questions…so know that before you use the app.

Once in a while there is no Gluten Free Restaurant for some reason. What do you do?

Plan Ahead
It’s hard sometimes to be GF AND spontaneous about food.
Never get in scenarios where you are hungry but are not sure where to go for food!
It can lead to disaster!
These are some of recommendations:
- Keep a couple gluten free nutrition bars in your bag just in case.
- Take a few minutes to research the area. Come up with a few Gluten Free Restaurant options.
- If you’ve never been to a Gluten Free Restaurant in Gamewell , stick with foods that are probably gluten free – meats, salads, fruits and that kind of thing. This is not likely a good time to try gluten-free pasta or cake – if you’ve not been there before!
- One last thing, dine at off-peak times. Have dinner early or try for a late lunch. Get there when you will have the complete attention of your wait person and the cooks aren’t slammed.
