Check For Gluten Free Restaurant In A Smartphone App

If you have a smartphone, then try the Find Me Gluten Free app. The app is helpful for locating user-contributed gluten free places! Check for it in the app store.

What I don’t like about this app is that some reviewers leave bad reviews for restaurants for reasons like a bad wait person or long wait time when it is seemingly irrelevant to the gluten-free situation…so take the reviews with a grain of salt.

No Options? Here’s What To Do

Occasionally there is no Gluten Free Restaurant for one reason or another. Then what?

Plan Ahead

It’s hard sometimes to be gluten-free and spontaneous about eating out.

Never get in scenarios where you are starving but are not sure where to eat!

It can lead to disaster!

Here are a couple of pointers:

  1. Throw some gluten free protein bars in your purse just in case.
  2. Take your time to investigate options. Come up with a few Gluten Free Restaurant options.
  3. If you’ve never been to a Gluten Free Restaurant in Riga , choose foods that are most likely gluten free – meats, salads, fruits that sort of thing. Now is not likely the best time to test gluten free pasta or cake – if you’ve not been to this place !
  4. Lastly, visit at off-peak times of day. Eat dinner earlyish or try for a late lunch. Get there at a time you will easily have the undivided attention of the wait person and the cooks aren’t slammed.
