Look For Gluten Free Sandwich In An App
If you have a smartphone, then try the Find Me Gluten Free app. It is useful for finding user-contributed GF ideas! Search for it in the app store.
What I don’t like about this app is that occasionally reviewers sort of bash restaurants for things like a bad wait person or long wait time when it is seemingly irrelevant to the the gluten free questions…so take the reviews with a grain of salt.
No Options? Here’s What To Do
Some areas have more GF choices than others. When you can’t find any good restaurant choices, here is what to do.
Rio Bravo has grocery stores and fuel stations which have food you can eat. Here you can find foods like protein bars, protein drinks, nuts, cheese, and many of other options. I offer a free ebook with over 1,000 gluten free foods on this website. Look for it – it’s free!
Think Ahead
It’s hard to be gluten-free and spontaneous about food.
Never get in situations where you are hungry and are not sure where to eat!
It’s hard on you and those you are with!
Included are a couple of pointers:
- Keep a couple GF protein bars in your car in case.
- Spend time to research the area. Come up with a few Gluten Free Sandwich options.
- If you’ve never been to a Gluten Free Sandwich in Rio Bravo , stick with foods that are likely GF – meats, salads, fruits and that kind of thing. Now is not likely the best time to try GF pasta or cake – if you’ve not been to this place before!
