Carol Fenster’s cookbooks make for happy cooking. This is true whether you are following a gluten free diet or not. Her recipes are good and usually fairly easy to make. We also find them easy to modify – for example if we often make dishes with milder “spicy” factor for our daughter and have used the same recipes for marinades instead of basting.
We have found that when making her flours, particularly for cookies, we prefer less of the flour mix. This could be living in high altitude, dry Colorado or just our taste.
Her two cookbook that are staples at our house are: Wheat-Free Recipes and Menus and Gluten-Free Quick and Easy.
